General terms of sale

This English translation is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These general terms of sale govern the sale of the RAD 4 BMX connected saddle (hardware, one-off payment) and access to the associated software subscriptions (Rider, Coach), offered by Network System & Software — see the legal notice. Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

2. Products and services

The RAD Signal connected saddle is a machined pivotal saddle with a built-in RAD Signal sensor (25 Hz GNSS) and a USB-C rechargeable battery under the seat — see the Product page for the technical details. Its purchase gives access to the Rider software plan. Coach plans give access to the data of a group of riders, by tier — see the Pricing page for details of the offers.

3. Prices

The price of the connected saddle is €99.00 including taxes, plus €29.00 activation fee and €19.90 delivery charge, i.e. €147.90 including taxes paid when ordering. The saddle purchase gives access to the Rider software plan, billed €16.99 including taxes per month with a minimum commitment of 12 months — not billed when ordering: see the conditions for starting this subscription in article 8 — see the Pricing page for details. Coach subscriptions are billed monthly with no commitment, at the current price shown on the same page at the time of subscription.

4. Ordering and payment

The saddle is ordered online, via Stripe, by bank card. The Rider subscription is billed separately, by automatic debit from the same payment method, from its actual start (see article 8). The order is confirmed by a summary email as soon as the hardware payment has been approved. We do not store any payment data — see our privacy policy.

5. Delivery

The saddle is delivered to mainland France, the French overseas territories, the countries of the European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Manufacturing and shipping take about 14 days from the order being confirmed. Progress on preparation and shipping is communicated by email. Delivery is made to the address given when ordering.

For mainland France, the delivery charge is shown and paid when ordering. For other destinations, it depends on the country and the parcel: it is calculated after the order and sent to you by email with a payment link; the saddle is shipped once it has been paid. If you do not wish to pay it, your order is cancelled and refunded in full. For shipments outside the European Union (Switzerland, United Kingdom) and to the French overseas territories, any customs duties and import taxes are payable by the recipient.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of the connected saddle to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or pay any penalty. To do so, notify your decision in writing to [email protected]. The product must be returned in its original condition; return costs are borne by you unless otherwise stated.

Coach subscriptions have no separate right of withdrawal to exercise: they can be cancelled at any time (see article 8), which goes beyond the minimum legal protection. The Rider subscription linked to the saddle purchase has a minimum term (see article 8); the 14-day withdrawal period above applies in full to this commitment — any withdrawal requested within this period is free of charge and penalty, whatever the reason.

7. Legal warranties

Regardless of any commercial warranty, the seller remains bound by the legal warranties of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

8. Software subscriptions

Coach subscriptions are monthly, with no minimum term, and can be cancelled at any time from the My account area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: access remains active until that date, with no pro-rata refund.

The connected saddle purchase does not include a subscription billed immediately: only the hardware and the activation fee (and delivery, where applicable) are paid when ordering. The Rider subscription starts as soon as the saddle is first paired with the app, or failing that automatically 30 days after delivery of the saddle (a reminder is sent by email before that date); it then carries a minimum commitment of 12 months from that actual start. At the end of that period, it continues automatically at the same price, with no step increase, unless cancelled. It can be cancelled at any time from the My account area; cancellation requested before the end of the commitment period may incur an early cancellation fee, calculated on a decreasing basis and capped at €34.00 — this amount, which decreases with each monthly payment already made until it disappears entirely after a few months, corresponds to the cost of the hardware still to be paid off and in no way constitutes a flat-rate penalty. No fee is due for cancellation requested within 14 days of the actual start of the subscription; the 14-day withdrawal period following the order (article 6) also applies to the hardware purchase itself.

9. Liability

The telemetry provided (speed, G-force, angle) is a training and analysis aid; it cannot give rise to any liability on the part of Network System & Software for decisions taken on the track on that basis.
